A quarterly 2hr social group

The Bubble social group!

For neurodivergent adults looking to connect with likemided people

Our next meeting will be Saturday 14th November 2026 1-3pm at Loundsley Green community center

Are you a neurodivergent adult looking to connect with like-minded people? Hi I’m Alex and I’ve started “The Bubble social group”

This is a gentle, welcoming social space for neurodivergent adults especially those who were late-diagnosed, self-identified, or still exploring their identity. Whether you’re autistic, anxious, Tourette's,dyspraxic, ADHD, or another neurotype, this group is for you. We meet to connect, chat, unmask (if you want to) do crafts, and just be without pressure to perform or explain.

What to Expect:

A warm welcome from me & Tom A calm, low-pressure environment (we have a fairly large space with an extra quiet and) fidgets Optional conversation prompts, board games, or creative activities (watercolours, Lego, scrapbook materials, card making, bracelet making) A board with everyone’s interests on to help you connect Cozy corners of seating You can talk, stim, fidget, doodle, move around or just listen Support if you want it, from Alex NO icebreakers or forced participation
A lovely attendee has shared this review: “ I really enjoyed the social group — it was a calm, welcoming space where I felt comfortable being myself. The sensory-friendly environment and conversation starter cards helped me connect with others easily. Meeting people with similar experiences made the day really meaningful. Although I felt a bit anxious at first, the supportive atmosphere helped me relax quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m excited to come back”
This space is hosted by a late-diagnosed neurodivergent occupational therapist

Booking is essential as there is a room capacity limit!

https://clientportal.uk.zandahealth.com/clientportal/navigateneurodiversityot/home

Click “book a group” and create a login. (If you have been before you may have one)

You should then be able to scroll on the calendar to see our session and book it.

There are limited spaces due to room capacity so I kindly ask that if you cannot attend that you let us know in the group chat so someone else can have your space if they would like. I will also post on here if I get any online cancellations via the portal.

When you have booked, you will receive an automated booking confirmation email.

I will then personally email each of you who booked at the end of next week with some e-forms to sign. Some of you will have completed them before but you will need to sign these ones because we have moved venues so they have been updated. You will not be able to attend unless they are completed. I will also email out further info about what to expect etc as part of this email & how to pay.

Pop me a message if you have any questions! ☺️

This is a small, community-minded group run at cost. A grant helped paid for our next few room hires. Your contributions cover remaining room hire, materials, and admin. Anything left over from this goes towards a small reserve for future sessions.

Feedback:

If you have any thoughts, ideas, feedback etc people email me! Some have suggested an online group, again if you're interested, let me know and i'll make it happen

This is a small, community-minded group run on a not-for-profit basis. A grant has kindly covered some of our upcoming room hire costs. Your contribution helps fund the remaining venue costs, materials, refreshments, insurance, equipment and administration. Any surplus is placed into a small reserve fund to help sustain future sessions and ensure sessions with w attendance or a high percentage of access tier attendees remains financially viable. Thank you for helping us keep the group running. 😊

. Any amount helps. Suggestions, which I’ve kept as low as I can while we move from 1 hour to 2:

  • £6, Access: for when financial ease is what you need

  • £10, Standard: covers your place

  • £15, Supporter: helps sustain and grow this space for others Payment is via BACS or cash on the day.

Who this group is for:

Neurodivergent adults (18+) Low to medium support needs (purely due to staffing) LGBTQIA+ affirming, trans-inclusive, trauma-informed Anyone who wants to connect with others in a low pressure environment Those who are curious, quiet, or unsure — you don’t have to “have it all figured out” to join There’s no pressure to talk, perform, or “people” in any particular way. This space is built on care, consent, and community.

Parking:

2x free carparks within a 3-minute walk from the entrance

Accessibility?

Level access via ramp, wheelchair accessible toilet next directly to the room.

How many people come?

between 4-15

when can i arrive?

Please don’t arrive before 1pm
I can’t get into the venue before 1pm, so I’ll be setting up from then. I can’t let anyone in earlier, and I’d hate for you to be left waiting outside. Please arrive from 1pm, and expect me to still be setting up when you get here. There’s no pressure to be punctual, and you’re very welcome to ease in!

Do i need to complete any forms?

Please complete your registration forms. Even if you’ve done them before, you need to sign the new ones because we’ve moved venues and they’ve been updated. You won’t be able to attend until they’re completed:

Can I have a break?

you can step out, take a break or leave early at any point. You don’t need to explain. We’ll finish just before 3pm to give us time to tidy up, as we must be out of the room at 3pm

Are you (Alex) there to make friends?

Unfortunately, because I run the session as an OT, I'm not able to make friends in the group; however, I do have first-hand experience of how hard it is to make friends and to desire a community and I am happy to talk with you about this. I created the group for you to enjoy, not for me to profit from or to use for my own friendship gains.

Will you (Alex) be providing therapy or advice at the group?

No, this is strictly a social group and not a therapy group. You are welcome to enquire with me about OT support.

FEELING WORRIED OR HAVE QUESTIONS?

Pop me an email anytime and we can have a chat, I'm happy to support in any way I can, to help you attend & feel comfortable: Alex@NavigateNeurodiversityOT.com I can’t wait to meet you!
