  • How I can help

Hi, I'm Alex, a neurodivergent Occupational Therapist based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, supporting adults across the UK to navigate life in a way that actually works for them.

Supporting a neurodivergent or chronically ill employee doesn't need to be complicated, but getting it right matters, for them and for you.

I work with employers to put practical, reasonable adjustments in place that help employees stay well, and productive at work, while supporting you to meet your obligations under the Equality Act.

Workplace Adjustment Assessments & Reports A structured assessment of an employee's needs, resulting in a clear, actionable report with specific, practical recommendations for the employee, their manager, and HR.

Employer-Funded Support Packages Ongoing, structured support sessions for an employee, funded directly by your organisation.

  • How this differs from a general Occupational Health review

A standard OH review is a good starting point, but it's typically brief, generic, and focused on assessing fitness for work rather than designing highly personalised adjustments. That often leaves managers with broad recommendations like "consider flexible working" or "reduce sensory triggers" without the specifics needed to actually act on them.

    My assessments go further:

    • Specific, not generic recommendations are tailored to how this individual actually works, not a standard list of options

    • Actionable for managers reports translate into steps a line manager can implement, not just principles to consider

    • Ongoing support available where needed, I can work with the employee over time rather than a one-off assessment with no follow-through

  • Why this matters for your organisation

    • Supports retention and reduces sickness absence

    • Demonstrates proactive compliance with reasonable adjustment duties

    • Gives managers clear, specific guidance rather than generic advice

    • Builds a neuroinclusive workplace, not just a compliant one
