The Bubble social group!
Are you a neurodivergent adult looking to connect with like-minded people?
Hi I’m Alex and I’ve started “The Bubble social group” :

Where is the group?: a cozy space in Monkey Park community center 128a Chester St, Chesterfield S40 1DN

When is the group: 11-12pm, the first sunday of the month
This is a gentle, welcoming social space for neurodivergent adults especially those who were late-diagnosed, self-identified, or still exploring their identity.
Whether you’re autistic, anxious, Tourette's,dyspraxic, ADHD, or another neurotype, this group is for you.
We meet to connect, chat, unmask (if you want to) do crafts, and just be without pressure to perform or explain.

What to Expect:
A warm welcome from me & Tom
A calm, low-pressure environment (we have a fairly large space with an extra quiet and)
fidgets
Optional conversation prompts, board games, or creative activities (watercolours, Lego, scrapbook materials, card making, bracelet making)
A board with everyone’s interests on to help you connect
Cozy corners of seating
You can talk, stim, fidget, doodle, move around or just listen
Support if you want it, from Alex
NO icebreakers or forced participation

A lovely attendee has shared this review:
“ I really enjoyed the social group — it was a calm, welcoming space where I felt comfortable being myself. The sensory-friendly environment and conversation starter cards helped me connect with others easily. Meeting people with similar experiences made the day really meaningful. Although I felt a bit anxious at first, the supportive atmosphere helped me relax quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m excited to come back”

This space is hosted by a late-diagnosed neurodivergent occupational therapist
